Commentary: Point 21-19! And We Have A Champion!

Wahaha… Ya ya, I know I said I’m not going to “publicize” about that “Champion” thing, but wat to do, it’s so damn amusing! BUT! Not without a round of hot-mix-cold sweat for the 3 of us (Brother Seng Guan, new fren Li Mei and Me lor!) watching the “Champion League”! Think being a supporter very easy job? At first when we reached it was still quite alright… Until they said to close all the glass doors… That’s it. “Greenhouse Effect” materialized! *Woo* So, we stayed in our little corner and watched (perspired) in silent protest! Hahaha…

Finally, it was the match we were all anticipating. Men’s singles finals. Our side, we have our blur-umpire-for-other-people’s-matches! The opponent? Hmmm, something like long legs and long arms… Hahaha… The stakes were high on the blur umpire. We all agreed he should jump down from the next block building if he failed to win. Hahaha… Pressure (and heat) was mounting in the 3rd level multi-purpose hall within Marine Parade CC. Haha…

Ladies and Gentlemen! Proudly, we bring you… the haywired match of the century!

Why haywired match? Well, the umpire of this match was supposedly the opponent to be playing for that match! To make matters worst, he even had a blur linesman who deemed an “out” as “in”!  That cost cold sweat not only to blur-umpire-for-other-people’s-matches, but also to us, the protesting in silence and sweating supporters leh!  Anyway, Champion is Champion one lah… No matter how, our blur-umpire-for-other-people’s-matches still won the match after a close fight. This is the moment! New Champion is born! Congratulations! It’s Celebrations! La la la la….

Hmmm… Photo taking.

Strangely, this got us all excited again. Especially, when the Champion mentioned about parading with his new trophy in Orchard Road! Should have taken a pic of his smug look then! Super Duper pleased with himself! That was total giggles for me! Bay Tahan!
