X’mas (Pt 1)

This X’mas is no doubt the busiest one, but also the greatest one I ever had! Had fun giving presents and of course, receiving presents!

Hehehe… My harvest for the seasons! As usual, let’s start from Left to Right.

The presents are from: Sally Ser, Constance Ho, Barry Chan, Sachet of sweets from Anne Tan & Nichelle Seow, Fion Wong, Lawrence Goh (My Boss), Ho Chee Tiong, Adelynn Lee, Anne Tan, Michael Mak, Helen Chia, Ho Hwee Liang, Caryl Phan, Tiff, Steph (My favoritest fren), Callie, Priscillia, Benson Toh, Elaine Chng, Serene Loh & Stella Chin!

Very surprise to receive a present from our Financial Controller, Mr Michael Mak!

My gift from the department’s gift exchange is from Barry. Kekeke… He tried to trick me by addressing me so formally as ”Ms Felicia”… He forgot that my team was coordinating the event and has access to everyone’s ballot! Hehehe… :D

And the BEST-DRESSED PRESENT goes to… Mr Lawrence Goh’s pink sensation gift!

As for what is in each of these nicely wrapped prezzies… Check out the entry on “X’mas (Pt 2)”. Released on the 12th day of X’mas - 05 Jan 2006! :D

The Family Stone

Wonderful movie to catch this holiday season! Say, the screen advert does remind me of “Love Actually”  that was screened last X’mas though… However, while “Love” spoke about how various people looked for the kinda love they desired, “Stone” refers to more of family kinda love.

Of cuz, humour is always a large part of it. “Love” has got this rather more indepth or “chim” humour while “Stone”, a little more close-to-the-heart one. To the extent that it was actually threading on the thin line to be labeled as simply slapsticks. Almost (At least to me). Both equally good movies.

Oh ya, Claire Daines is now all so pretty!

On the whole, I give “The Family Stone” 4 popcorns outta 5! :)

And of cuz, the movie kakis!

Mr Ho Chee Tiong and Mr Ranjit Shekdar!

And it’s Pizza Time!

HOLLY JOLLY PIZZA! - Proudly brought to you by Pizza Hut.

Oh and of cuz, if you like the picture clarity, it’s courtesy production of my new Nokia N70 handphone.

Ok! Time to take a quick shut-eye after having woke up at 4am in the morning. It has been going on like this (sleeping and waking up like 3-4am in the morning) recently. Hmmm… I think I’m stress… :D

Fall To Pieces

I looked away
Then I look back at you
You try to say
The things that you can’t undo
If I had my way
I’d never get over you
Today’s the day
I pray that we make it through

Make it through the fall
Make it through it all

And I don’t wanna fall to pieces
I just want to sit and stare at you
I don’t want to talk about it
And I don’t want a conversation
I just want to cry in front of you
I don’t want to talk about it
Cuz I’m in love with you

You’re the only one,
I’d be with till the end
When I come undone
You bring me back again
Back under the stars
Back into your arms

And I don’t wanna fall to pieces
I just want to sit and stare at you
I don’t want to talk about it
And I don’t want a conversation
I just want to cry in front of you
I don’t want to talk about it
Cuz I’m in love with you

Wanna know who you are
Wanna know where to start
I wanna know what this means

Wanna know how you feel
Wanna know what is real
I wanna know everything, everything

And I don’t wanna fall to pieces
I just want to sit and stare at you
I don’t want to talk about it
And I don’t want a conversation
I just want to cry in front of you
I don’t want to talk about it

And I don’t wanna fall to pieces
I just want to sit and stare at you
I don’t want to talk about it
And I don’t want a conversation
I just want to cry in front of you
I don’t want to talk about it
Cuz I’m in love with you

I’m in love with you
Cuz i’m in love with you
I’m in love with you
I’m in love with you

Paige in ALPS!

Our Management Support Team’s (MST) little team lunch @ Puffy Paige Cafe, Level 3, Amenity Centre (ALPS Avenue). It was their 1st day of opening. Saw “Cousin” Callie, Priscillia and 2 other ladies from the same office there as well… It was an extended lunch for all 4 of us, cuz it started to rain heavily halfway through our lunch! Oh ya, be sure to try out their Curry Chicken… Quite a challenge for my tastebuds! The Broccolli Potato Soup is yummy too! Hehehe… ;p

Left to Right: Serene, Constance, Me and Charmaine

Bark Cafe… *Woof!* :P

It’s Early Christmas Celebration and Gift Exchange with Best Buddy - Brudder Luke @ Bark Cafe! *Woof*

Spotted this little hidden haven for quite a while already. Always forget about it when it comes to thinking of place to relax and unwind. This place lies peacefully opposite the Changi Baptist Church. If you happen to travel in a cabbie through the little road of Changi North, along the Changi Prison, you’ll spot the church. And turn quickly to your right to see the signage of this little cafe! For drivers, be sure to park your wheels at the Changi chaple and museum carpark (though I did not see any “chapel” or “museum”). Hmmm, let’s just say that I’m always in the “nick of time” when it comes to going to the office. Hehehe…

Ok folks, this is the entrance of the cafe, taken from inside of it where we were seated. Pic is kinda dark. We reached around 8pm (After having made Luke wait at the office gates for more than an hour. Very Sorry Bro!).

The isle that separates our table from the ones on the other side. Check out the “L” shape dining zone. Oh, there is also another area just next to these tables which I think are very suitable for drinks - tall tables and high chairs. Can’t remember if there is a TV. Otherwise, it will be an ideal spot for soccer maniacs!

For a start, it’s the drinks ordering. Gosh! I ordered some plum drink. Haiz… And the waitress said it was supposed to taste sweet… Luke just had fruit punch.

We were kinda hungry so did not think much about taking pics of the food when it arrived. Hehehe…

After the food, it’s time for Gift Exchange!!! I got this from Luke!  It was such a pleasant surprise! Cuz I was actually thinking of buying one for myself the day before when shopping for Christmas presents with good pal, SY! It was actually meant to be used for a car. But I thought it might be better to put it in the office. Just thought a little clearing of the air may be good… I think it helps to ease Charmaine’s coughing too!? Hehehe… So, it’s now humming and nesting on my office desk. :)
