For You

In This Life
(Mark Reid/Allen Shawblin)

For all I’ve been blessed with in this life
There was an emptiness in me
I was imprisoned by the power of gold
But one honest touch could set me free

Let the world stop turnin’
Let the sun stop burnin’
Let them tell me love’s not worth going through
If it all falls apart
I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you

For every mountain I have climbed
Every raging river crossed
You were the treasure that I’d longed to find
Without your love I would be lost

Let the world stop turnin’
Let the sun stop burnin’
Let them tell me love’s not worth going through
If it all falls apart
I will know deep in my heart
The only dream that mattered had come true
In this life, I was loved by you

In this life, I was loved by you

Latern Festival - Chinese Valentine’s Day

poster Hehehe… Mum borrowed “The Maid” vcd from her colleague! Wa lau… I think I very brave to watch it… ALONE! Well, except for little fat dog… But then again, think he would be more interested in his sleep than anything else! Hmmm… Oh BTW, it was a “silent” movie. Hehehe… Scared mah! So I switched off the sound lor! Hahaha… Hahaha…

Today is also the Latern Festival a.k.a. Chinese Valentine’s Day, with the myth about the moonlady and her rabbit. Hehe…

Judging from the loud music and singings projected from the central stage at the park, the whole park must be packed. In fact, it was packed yesterday night too! The whole park was full of kids and even adults playing with candles, strolling with lanterns and even eating mooncakes! Some even went to the extent of creating mini bon fires! Hahaha…

Little fat dog also met a few children who, unlike the others previously, were not the least afraid of him. I guess he must have felt like SUPERSTAR at that point ‘cuz the children were crowding around him, touching his fat body and patting his head. Hahaha…

Anyway, check out local artist - Corrinne May. Luke, if you’re reading this, another love song collection for you! Hehe…

Taken from her album - Fly Away, here’s Something About You. Personal favourite of mine. Cute lyrics.

Click on the underlined song title for the sample of the track. Sample… Sample ok… So not the full song… But it’s almost there. Hehe… Enjoy!

Something About You

Don’t know what you do to me but
Everytime I’m with you its a natural high
its like re-discovering Eden
with chocolate-coated rainbows and cotton candy skies
And everytime you look my way
I wish i had the guts to say

There’s something in your eyes
Something in your smile
Something in the way you move me
You make me want to sing
Make me want to dance
Make me want to cry
I’m falling in love with you.

I think i’ll hire Cupid
He’ll make you see I’m more than your friend
You’ll be tossing and turning
Counting the hours til you see me again
And when we meet you’ll
Kiss my hand and say the words I’ve longed to hear

There’s something in your eyes
Something in your smile
Something in the way you move me
You make me want to sing
Make me want to dance
I’m falling in love with you
You make me want to sing
Make me want to dance
Make me want to cry
I’m falling in love with you.

My Study Journey Ends Here…

Another Chapter of My Life Begins Here…

Where the sun shines and the storm brews on both extremities…

- Mum -

I’ve come to learn, the best thing in the world is NOT FAMILY. It is MUM. I’m not one to say “I Love You” easily, but I do feel gratified towards the greatest pillar in my life all this time…

You were there to see me rise to the fullest potential. You were there to witness my struggle in my life’s ages of darkness. You never gave up on me but relentlessly urged me to pursue my dreams. Yet gave me room to paint my directions.

YOU ARE THE GREATEST THING IN THE WORLD

Thank You!
