Woodland Transport

Woodland Transport’s timing went hay-wired again! :S

For the recent times that we waited for it, the bus scheduled to pick us up @ 8.15hrs did not arrive till 8.30hrs! To make matters more “interesting”, there was a Kung-Fu show this morning!

Was waiting as usual at the Tanah Merah bus stop this morning for the 8.15hrs bus, where many pairs of hopeful eyes were straining afar for the slightest hint of its appearance. But of cuz, the bus did not arrive until around 8.35hrs. And as usual, the crowd that gathered at the edge of the bus stop started squeezing their way up the bus.

Not wanting to do likewise, I stayed behind to wait for the “coast” to be “cleared”. Kekeke…

Then out of nowhere, a Malay guy started pushing a Chinese fella, mouthing “What are you doing? Huh?”

For a moment all eyes were on them. The Chinese guy then murmured something that sparked repetitive reply from the aggrieved Malay man, ”I trying to go up the bus! So what do you want now! What do you want now!!!”

Aiyo, so scary… :S

Anyway, in the end, both of them got up the bus. Hahaha… I wondered what would happen next as they were both the last to board the bus and were both right at the edge of the bus! Kekeke…

As for me? Waited for the next one… The so-called “8.30hrs bus” that came by at something like 8.40hrs… Haiz… Late for work again! Just when I decided to kick the bad habit! ;p

O.T.O.T. :)

Brought Mr Ben to the park and realised that hey, the weather like not bad ohh!  Eh? Today don’t have match!? Hehehe… I’ve got an idea! It’s O.T.O.T. (Own Time Own Target) blading session! :p

Cool huh? Looks a bit like some Korean or Japanese signs/logos huh? Have you all guess where this place is yet? Kekeke… :p

Goal!!!!! Get it now? Yes! Fer de Chioz laid feet (or blades) on the inline hockey ring! Kekeke… This is actually the first time I came to this hockey ring, although it’s like at one end of the park near (VERY NEAR) my house and really over-utilized… Why over-utilized? Becuz the flooring is full of cracks and little pot holes made by prolong hits of the hockey sticks! Kakaka…

Wei… Not that I’m “Suaku” ok… Its just that everytime when I blade within the park, this ring is always filled with those professional inline hockey players, so I think I better steer clear!!! Keke… :p

Saw this signage at East Coast Park during the last ERC blading session ohh! So, their reach extends to Tampines too! Ooo…

Oh oh… Think it’s time to head home! :S

Luck or Misfortune??? :S

From what started like a small drizzle, soon turned into heavy drizzle and finally, a sudden heavy downpour!

Was walking my way back home from the usual bus stop, welcoming the thoughts of the weekends despite the occasional drips. Hoping to make it home before the downpour when the drips turned into drops.

Just at the right moment when the music blasting from the earphones ceased, someone said, “Excuse me. May I shelter you to the bus stop?” I turned to see a red shadow loomed overhead. Next to me, a lady about “half a head” shorter was beaming at me. I returned the smile with several and of cuz, sparked short conversations during this short distance.

Soon, heavy downpour. Suddenly, what seems like a short distance suddenly felt a million miles away! :S

Brrr….! By the time we reached the bus stop we were already somewhat drenched, mine right and hers left. Again, I said my thanks and she hurried home. Well, so here it is! At least I’ve got myself sheltered until the downpour subsides.

Then there was this uncle dressed in Airline personnel’s uniform. He asked me if there was anyone fetching me from the bus stop. I said no and he started calling home.

Airline personnel: Harlow? Mummy ah? (I suppose that’s his term of endearment for his Mrs) Can you bring 2 umbrellas with you? I have a fren who’s stuck with me here at the bus stop near our house.”

Hmmm… FREN

Then he said this muz be my lucky day and asked me for 4 numbers for 4D. Was still thinking of wat number to give when he decided on the last 4 digits of my IC. So there I was counting my IC number aloud (but without the last alphabet though) and he wrote it down!? Kinda so very dumb of me!!! Let’s jus hope he only remembered the last 4 digits and nothing else! Haiz! So silly of me! :S

Is this luck or misfortune?

I feel so stupid!

~ RAIN ~

MADONNA

I feel it, it’s coming

CHORUS:
Rain, feel it on my finger tips
Hear it on my window pane
Your love’s coming down like rain
Wash away my sorrow, take away my pain
Your love’s comin down like rain

When your lips are burning mine
And you take the time
To tell me how you feel
When you listen to my words
And I know you’ve heard, I know it’s real
Rain is what this thunder brings
For the first time I can hear my heart sing
Call me fool but I know I’m not
I’m gonna stand out here on the mountain top
Till I feel your

CHORUS

When you looked into my eyes
And you said goodbye
Could you see my tears?
When I turned the other way
Did you hear me say?
I’d wait for all the dark clouds
Bursting in a perfect sky
You promised me when you said goodbye
That you’d return
When the storm was done
And now I’ll wait for the light
I’ll wait for the sun
Till I feel your

CHORUS

Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
And I say never go away

Waiting is the hardest thing
(It’s strange I feel like I’ve known you before)
I tell myself that if I believe in you
(And I want to understand you)
In the dream of you
(More and more and more)
With all my heart and all my soul
(When I’m with you)
That by sheer force of will
(I feel like a magical child)
I will raise you from the ground
(Everything strange)
And without a sound you’ll appear
(Everything wild)
And surrender to me, to love

Rain is what the thunder brings
For the first time I can hear my heart sing
Call me fool but I know I’m not
I’m gonna stand right here
On the mountain top till I feel your

Rain, I feel it, it’s coming
Your love’s coming down like
(repeat)

CHORUS

Rain, I feel it, it’s coming
Your love’s coming down like rain
(repeat)

I´ll stand out on the mountain top
And wait for you to call my name

Rain….

Cool find within Christinity Music! :D

Rachael Lampa ~Free~ Album Titled “Live For You”

What would you say if i told you about,
A love too good to be real.
Would you reply that you’ve heard it a million times.
You throw up your hands never understands,
Turns and walk alway, cry another tear.
I know where you’re comin’ from,
I was searching for the road that would lead me home.

[Chorus]:

Where i’m free
Free to believe what is real to me
Free… Free to believe that He lives in me
La La La… La La La… Free

How would you feel if love fell in your arms,
With the tenderness of a child.
Would you be able to finally open your eyes.
Oh… A love so strong it nevers begs, never borrows,
Never steals from anyone.
Even if I bend, even if I sway, even if I lose my way,
I will always come home.

[Chorus]

Free to love, free to dance, free to live your life with open
Hands that reach for the way, closer to the edge you’ll hear the
Music play awaking all that once was slumbering’s alive again…

Cause i’m free…
Free to believe what is real to me
Free… Free to believe that He lives in me
La La La… La La La…. La La La…  free

Free…
Free to believe what is real to me
Free… Free to believe that He lives in me

Free….

La La La… La La La… La… Oh…. Yeah…

Even if i bend, even if i sway, even if i lose my way…

My little piece of haven - Breakaway @ Simei! :D

Was out galavanting in the afternoon, from Tampines-Tanjong Pagar-Simei and finally home in Tampines again. But it was not before the stop-over at Simei for a slice of havenly indulgence for the soul! Original plan was to go to Sports Link in Simei to get my sports apparels. Then again, was pounced by quite a handful of surprises! Kekeke… :D

OK! First on the list! Lunner! C’mon, we have Brunch… Why not Lunner then? :D

Here’s a cool place for makan! “NOT JUST WAFFLES”!  I totally agree. They have so much stuff that I like! Smoothies…. Ice-creams (More than 10 flavors can you imagine!?!?!)… Burgers… Sandwiches… Ssslluurrppp!!! :D~~ Oh, and the lady boss there hor, very the “SPUNKY”! She speaks quite aggressively and spots a funky, short-crop hairdo. Reminds me of Ah Lian, just that she’s a little “over” for the category! Then again, despite the agressiveness she displayed, I think I got her melted with my ever-formidable-million-dollar smile! She’s nice (to me lah)! Hahaha…!

Here’s my lunner - Rodeo Chicken Fillet, complete with soup and choice of 1 of those vintage glass bottle-packed Fanta Orange, Lime or Cherry. Of cuz, being rebellious by nature, I’d rather fork out another $1 for my Snapple Summer Peach! Oh ya, sorry didn’t include the soup in the pix ‘cuz…. it’s in my stomach loo! Kekeke…  A close-up on the main course! Very Potato-ish hor? Ya, the lady boss ran out of rice that goes with the set so she offered me potato wedges instead… Best of both worlds for a potato lover! Yeh!!! Oh and the coleslow, it’s one-of-a-kind taste. Not as pungent as those I’ve tried before. Really teases the tastebuds! ;P

For those looking for something out of the norm once in a while, this set costs you $9.90 unless you decided to be more “adventurous” like me! No GST! Kokokoko… Oh there’s also another set meal and it’s “Fishy”…  ;D Quite a good deal! [Click "Read More" for more of my electronic doodles!]

GUESS WHAT?!

_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_

Just when I was leaving East Point Mall, this DJ happily spinning his songs at the centre square while I’m moutain-tortoise-ded-ly snapping and “filming” away with my Nokia N70. Kekeke… ;P

Mass Line Dancing! Mum~! You should really try this out! ;D

[Surprise!] Satisfied with the shots, I moved on to the train station. There, I bumped into my colleague cum Senior when I was working in Starbucks the last time - William! He was with his wifey… Soon to hold their Chinese customary wedding in June. Oh oh… I sense a red-letter bomb coming up! :S

[Surprise! Pt II] And then, I met Kenny while on my way to take my feeder bus home at Tampines bus interchange! Aiyo… Not the non-die-able Kenny from Southpark lah! He’s Kenny from Jean Yip, my usual hair salon! Caught him red-handed with his gf!!! Not bad leh, though he looks a little “feminine” but his gf quite pretty ohh!!! Kekeke… :D

SIMPLE HAVEN!

_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_*_

When was the last time you stop to witness Nature @ work? Spotted this usual patron of the park, only this time she’s 1.5m off the ground! :D

One of the many things we took for granted. This cabbie that droved me to office one day had only half of all the fingers (except the thumbs) on both hands, as what you see in this pix! Food for Thoughts!
