Wow… Seems like I’ve been introduced to quite a few things recently… Topsy-turvy chain of events regarding the “affairs” of my heart lah… Ravenhearst lah… Then this book
Eat Right For Your Type that provides guide to better health and weight control, according to your blood type, ie. O, A, B and AB.
In a nutshell,
For Type O: Focus on higher protein, eliminate grains, and perform energetic aerobic exercise.

For Type B: Vary your diet with a diversity of food groups (including dairy), and exercise moderately by swimming or walking.
For Type AB: You have most of the benefits and intolerances of Types A and B. Utilize relaxation exercises.
For a start, let’s see… Those of us who find it difficult to lose weight, maybe it’s becuz we’re guilty of over-consuming the following?
Food that encourage weight gain:
For Type O: Wheat glutten, sweetcorn, kidney beans, navy beans, lentils, cabbage, Brussel sprouts, cauliflower, mustard greens.
For Type A: Meat, dairy foods, kidney beans, lima beans, wheat (when consumed excessively).
For Type B: Sweetcorn, lentils, peanuts, sesame seeds, buckwheat, wheat.
For Type AB: Red meat (when consumed excessively), kidney beans, lima beans, seeds, sweetcorn, buckwheat, wheat.
This is only the tip of the iceberg. Besides all these, the book also spelt out the list of foods (Meat, Seafood, Dairy products, Oils & fats, Nuts & seeds, Beans & pulses, Cereals, Breads, Grains & pastas, Veggies, Fruits, Juices, Spices, Herbal products) that are highly beneficial, neutral to the overall well-being as well as those to be avoided of each of the 4 blood types. Not bad a book for beginners like me who have difficulty understanding the biological terms used by most nutritionists! Many thanks to Bern. Next book I’m considering to get is Live Right For Your Type by the same author…
